FAQ: Gigs and events - SAMETAL.org

5.1 - What is the nature of the events hosted by SAMETAL.org?

There are two types of events hosted on SAMETAL.org:
1. Events that are run completely by SAMETAL staff. In these events, SAMETAL has all the say in what bands are added to the event's lineup. Futhermore, all invitations and ticket sale information will be posted on the website.
2. Events that are sponsored/supported by SAMETAL.org. In these events, SAMETAL's role is solely to support the event by advertising it on the website, giving advice and providing consultation, and giving feedback/reviews of said events. However, when it comes to such events, SAMETAL has absolutely no role in choosing bands to be added to the lineup.

5.2 - How frequent do SAMETAL events happen?

Due to difficulties in finding suitable venues and bringing together logistics, SAMETAL events do not occur as frequent as we wish them to be. The frequency of our events is not really consistent, but we will make sure to rekindle your fire before it dies out. On the other hand, countless events will be supported/sponsored by SAMETAL.

5.3 - What are SAMETAL's event statutes?

1. No one will be admitted without an event ticket or an invitation; there will be no exceptions to this rule.

2. Doors will open and close at a certain time. No entry will be allowed outside this time window, please put this into consideration.

3. Usually, no outside food or drinks are allowed.

4. A strict NO DRUGS and NO ALCOHOL policy will be enforced; if one fails to comply, he/she will be reported to the authorities.

5. Keep it clean; no PDAs (Public Displays of Affection), please.

6. No sharp items will be allowed.

7. Any kind of disrespect towards the venue, the staff, or the attendees will not be tolerated; if one fails to comply, he/she will be asked to leave the premises.

8. Tickets are non-refundable unless the show is cancelled.

9. Backstage access is allowed only for badge holders.

10. If any problem occurs during the show, attendees should feel free to approach any member of the staff with their concerns.

11. Both the organizers and security have the right to inspect any suspicious individuals.

12. No bags or backpacks will be permitted.

13. It is suggested that you keep your phone calls outside the venue, as mobile phones interfere with the equipment.
